This is a Star Barn wood block collectible, generally depicting the structures as they appeared at The Star Barn's original site in Middletown, Pennsylvania (Dauphin County). Size: 8 1/8" W x 4 7/8" H x 5/8" thick. The reverse side reads: The majestic Star Barn and its associated structures were designed in the Gothic Revival architectural style by Daniel Reichert, architect, and built by contractors, John Z. Grove & Son, for Colonel John Motter in 1877. The complex was entered in the National Register of Historic Places on July 27, 2000. Barn groups agree that The Star Barn is one of the most recognizable barns in the country. In 2015 and 2016, this historic complex was carefully dismantled and moved from its original site in Middletown, Pennsylvania to Stone Gables Estate in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. It is being utilized as a one-of-a-kind premier event venue. “Unless the Lord builds the house {or the barn or the structure}, they labor in vain who build it.” Psalm 127:1
